Our Victor set replicates Spalding's clubs, which were a collaboration between J. Victor East and Bobby Jones. Bobby Jones started his design work with Spalding 1929, and this set was ultimately introduced in 1931 following Bobby's Grand Slam in 1930. Interestingly, Bobby's involvement landed him in hot water with the USGA, due to his receiving compensation for design work, which threatened his amateur status. There is an enormous interest by collectors in owning an original set of these fine clubs, however, they can reach $5K to $10K for a quality playset. So we've faithfully reproduced them here, so you can experience their incredible quality of play at a reasonable price. The complete set includes 12 clubs: this includes 1 iron through 9 iron, along with our Stewart Maiden (Bobby Jones's instructor) niblick in that set. Loft gapping is 4 degrees between clubs.
